Abstract

Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics in Cylindrical Coordinates

A derivation of the equations of Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) in cylindrical coordinates is presented. The cylindrical SPH formulation is tested by solving two dimensional shock problems.
